Luther (Luke) Wilhite (Guitar, Lead vocals)
Growing up in the south has influenced his style. He loves to play his guitar with that southern rock and blues twang until the police knock down his door and arrest him for playing his music is to loud. He loves all music and has an affinity to sharp objects. He has sung in the opera "The Little Prince". He has played guitar for the musical Hairy Situation where he co-wrote songs and played several characters also played guitar for the play 10 November. He also has been in the Movie "Payback". Mike Wilhite (Bass, Backup Vocals)
Comes from Hephzibah, Georgia where he played flute in the all county Band. Then realizing he could not thump on the flute, picked up the bass and the rest is history. He has played Bass for the musical Hairy Situation where he co-wrote songs and played Mayor Earl Barker. He has played bass for the variety show Skatt in the Skatt Cats Band and the play 10 November. He has been in with recording studio with a few bands. He is heavily influenced by Improvisation Theater where he has been apart of many comedy troupes and even taught improvisation at the University of Michigan. This lends to his music which comes from that same state of mind. His idols are those thick stringed meat pushing bottom dwellers willing to take a chance on their underestimated instrument. John Skach (Drums, Percussion)
Is a graduate of the Chicago Academy for the Arts (a performing Arts high school in Chicago). There he performed with the theater dept as well as the jazz ensemble. At the same time John was taking Improvisation classes at The Second City and The Annoyance theaters and is a graduate of both Schools. He has played drums for the musical Hairy Situation and performed with the Skatt Kats for the Annoyance Theater variety show Skatt. His drum abilities surfaced in preschool. John began tinkering around on a 1969 Ludwig drumkit. A fan of The Who's Keith Moon and Led Zeppelins John Bonham. He has a very solid groove that must not only be heard but seen as well. Sara Stotts (Vocals)
Sara started singing in gradeschool starring in "Hansel and Gretel" and "Rock-n-Roll Christmas," both stellar performances which skyrocketed her carreer. Trained in opera, Sara's unique vocal style ranges from Sarah Brighton's sweet sopranic tone to Cheryl Crow's brassy soul and Blondie's strong edgy sound. Sara is also an actress and has played in various plays, musicals and independent films in Chicago. Her improvisational training from the Annoyance Theater and The Second City has greatly influenced her ability as a creative performer and entertainer. She is currently using her medical degree as a Physical Therapist to support her life as a struggling actress and Rock-n-Roll star.(E-mail - sara@chubbynothin.com)
Glenn Nelson (Guitarist, keyboard, backup vocal) -
Born and raised in Chicago, Glenn's musical style range from rockers like Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana and Tony Macalpine to Jazzers like George Benson, Wes Montgomery, Mike Stern and John Scofield. Glenn started playing the guitar at the age of nine and quickly developed a love for blues base rock in the styles of Albert King and Led Zeppelin. After studying music on his own for many years he met Richard Harris a well-known local jazz guitarist who cultivated his skills and his love for jazz. Glenn has taught guitar and bass for many years and has performed, recorded and appeared in videos with different bands (Midnight Passport, The Slugs, and Heartlands).
